So my blue eyed kole is covered as well as my YT the black clown too! I'm not concerned as they are all happy, eating well and not flashing or scratching! But I've never seen it look this bad. Is it just because its on a black fish that it looks worse?

Hard to tell from the pics, but if they are as healthy as you say, continued feeding of a varied diet and as little stress as possible should eventually allow for them to heal up.

yeah I'm not worried about Ich, thats easily dealt with, usually, just don't like the size of these cysts. they literally flap in the current, BIG for my tank.

yeah, I think its lymphocytes of some sort, not brooklynella which is great.

Cheryl, I'll try, but getting an image of a tang on an iphone is as you know, not the easiest of tasks

BUT the rest of them are showing classic Ich symptoms

If it looks bigger than a grain of sand on the fish, it probably isn't Ich. Did you add anything recently be it fish/coral/rock from another tank? If no, then what has changed in the past three or four days to cause the outbreak?

Is the second picture (the bottom one) of the Kole tang? It looks like white/greyish stringy loops almost. Is that a fair assessment of what is on him?
