Ice Cap

Champion lighting has 175 watt MH ballast from Ice Cap for $99 bucks.

Is this worth it? or should we wait for the 250 watt to go on sale?

WOW ok I spoke to soon... the 250 watt ballast is only $109 ... so whats ya think?

OK just added it all up. 2x ballast. 2x Parabolic Reflector W/Socket and 20k XM bulbs which = $428

Now this would still need to be wired and the wires on the ballast are NOT quick disconnects.

 

Any Thoughts here people!

I don't know for sure. I like the ARO ballast that has a 3 years warranty that no one else I can find has.
What are your thoughts on the best eballast Matt? anyone?

Phil currently have 440 VHO and want to have a combo vho MH.
Need to rebuild hood the way I want to have both.

 

I see just figured you were abandoning vho but nooo gonna do both. Cool when does project begin?

I was thinking like Phil. So you haven't found a MH/VHO halide setup that comes plug and play? If so, which one and how much was it?
Curious about the price difference between building it and buying it.
