Yesterday afeternoon 3ish I added a bag of Phosban 100grams (my phos is at .5)
and then about 5 I added my norm chems, Ca, Mg,Buffer and a new bag of carbon

Last night I noticed about 8 all my corals were pulled in, fish ok

This morning as the lights are starting to fire up (about an hour now--Actinics and Exoexotic stunners 2 454 & 2 50/50 just came on)
and the corals are all still pulled in and not expanding at all

Do you think by my adding the 3 chems all back to back after the Phosban did a PH crazy boost and fried them? Even my Xenia is flat!

Have you checked your PH now? are the coral white or turning brown?

My bet is they are in shock and should be okay soon.

Should I do a W/C of 10gals? or let it ride?
This is a new 90 I setup 2 weeks ago after my 65 sprung a leak.
I used about 60 gals of water from the old system and did not see any Nitrate increase and used new sand, added a favia and LT plate and GSP last Sunday and they were doing great...darn it I so pissed as I usually never add chems back to back...was in a hurry and did not even give it a second thought

I think you should let it settle before making any other changes.

+1 Leave it alone. Any more shifts in parameters will probably do more harm then good.

Thanks all....your right...I did pull the phosban as I have heard it can make a PH/Kh swing even though I used 100 grams which is what it calls for 50 grams per 100 gals
left the carbon in to hopefully assist in any excess chem removal

Will wait till Wednesday and if no improvement I will do a 10% W/C

Since this is a relatively new setup I would probably test for Nitrite and ammonia just to be safe. Good luck!
