    i just got my melanurus wrasse from BZA and its at the bottom of the bag not moving and doesnt appear to be breathing :bigcry:

    is their a slime coat around it?
    wrasses occasionally play dead... acclimate anyway and see if it comes around

    i dont notice a slime coat, their might be i only have an hour to email BZA so i think i will just shoot them an email to be on the safe side

    make sure to acclimate him. I've heard of wrasses seeming dead when they are stressed.

    my mccoskers was in the bag for about 16hours so i was scared when he didnt move until about 3 minutes into acclimation.
    They usually fall asleep and create their cocoon in the bag and then take extra long to wake up and play the "im going to be dead" right now game.

    Just take pictures while hes in the bag incase.
    but make sure you go through acclimation still just in case!!!

    Email them to be on the safe side, but still acclimate as update them if needed.

    yea im still going too, he looks helthy and was a decent size and pretty :D so im hoping he's just playing dead

    i just sent BZA an email saying that i might have a DOA but im not exactly sure and that i am still going to acclimate the fish

    ok, im really hoping thats all he's doing yea ill take a picture at the end of the acclimating makes me want to do a quick acclimation process

    yea just did i hope they respond fast
