    so was it the 10 gal aquarium ITSELF that failed?? What brand was it? I am building a sump now with a 10 gallon and i guess i should reinforce the tank. K+ for all your troubles and for bringing a potential problem to our attention!

    So I would go get yourself another small 10g tank (or 20 long) and an extra small heater. I, myself, keep three extra 10s and a 15 tall just in case I need to quickly quarantine everything. I also have heaters and powerheads for all. Ya never know.....
