Hi guys, it's been months but I just couldn't stand the itch any longer. I'm going to pick up a 6 gallon edge, does anyone know, or can post me a link to a fixture for this tank..I can't find one anywhere, apparently I don't think they sell one? I don't feel like going through the hassle of making my own. I want to be able to support some lps, I had great success with led's in my last tank. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This may be something you would have to retrofit some type of diy lights into. I doubt the LEDs that come with it would be good enough for LPS.

Hi Brian - actually.. if you can wait a little longer :) ... Fluval has new Edge tanks coming out for saltwater with their new Fluval LED 2.0 lights on them that are dimmable and controllable. They were at MACNA. I believe they are coming by end of year or early first quarter.

Here is a pic I took of one:

I'll post more info on these soon.

Alright, so I got the tank...of course I couldn't wait. I decided to use my reef breeders. So my question is, if I dim it way down it will work in theory correct?

I was going to suggest a 400 watt halide.

Which reefbreeder fixture did you get?

Its the 120 watt value fixture, dimming it down would work fight? I have it mounted about 8 inches above the tank.
