Is your Remora a skimmer?? If so is it very noisy or put off very many bubbles? I have a surface skimmer hooked up to my Fluval but I'm thinking I still need to get a protein skimmer.

imo get t-5s, a 4x54w t-5 setup is equal to the 2x150w mh setup, but check out the aquatinics.com 5x54w t-5 they are better than tek imo

    Thanks!

Just wanted to thank everyone for their input on light. I picked up a Current USA Orbit w/ 2-65w day light (10,000K), 2-65w dual actinic (420mn/460mn) and 4 lunar light. Man does that tank look great now, almost hurts your eyes.8)
    Thanks again for the feedback!

I"m glad you're pleased. I really like my T-5s in my Nova Extreme. Be aware, the sudden increase in light will probably spark an algae bloom.
I went through red slime algae and then green hair algae, which is still a problem if I don't keep my maintenance up.
Keep your overall nitrates down with regular water changes.

Thanks Saw! I am worried that I need to go and get more for my cleaning crew. I didn't want to run them out of food so I just picked up 12 snails and 10 hermits for starts. Those crabs have been some working SOB's :p
This weekend is the sixth week running so I am trying to go slow and not over do it. Got my Remora Aqua C up and running last night too, my wife hopes that I am done with equipment purchases....;D Told her I could be out blowing it in the bars.....
