I lost a fish. I don't mean it died. I lost it. I have a 30 gallon with 2 beautiful discus, some neons & 2 siamese algae eaters. I use to have a 3 spot gourmais. Try as I might, I can't find it. I checked all inside the aquarium & I checked the floor all around to see if maybe it had jumped. ( nothing )

It is not in the filter's intake tubes. I put sponges over the ends of those for just that reason.

Would the discus have eaten it, bones & all ?

    Where did it go ?

Could you have accidentally sucked it up when doing a water change or something similar? You may want to check the filter just in case.

If it died the algae eaters may well have concealed the evidence.

Do you have a dog or a cat? Perhaps a hungry 3 year old?
