    I agree with above posts. It's a target or spotted mandarin drogonette. Did you buy this little guy at Seahorse in Allison Park? If so, they should no better to ask if you have the means to care for it. Good luck and hope it makes it.

    i feel sorry for this guy and i want to save him. but the problem is that the lfs around here will be closed by that time. will it survive till tomorrow? i hope it will at least it will have a chance for survival in my tank since the guy that i got it from said he did not feed it cause it is algae eater.

    Usually once they're that thin it's too late, even if they eat prepared foods. Once they get that thin, they can't digest food properly & still die of starvation.

    I rescued one from Petco years ago (I guess rescue is an odd word, since either way it was going to die), and it survived for 2 weeks eating frozen daphnia and all the pods in my tank.

    That is so sad. This fish does not eat algae at all. Poor thing.

    I really hope it can bounce back, but usually when they are this thin, they can't be saved. Fingers crossed.

    i have never bought pods and i did not imagine that they could be sold. how are they sold? by the pound or number or...?

    1 of those cost $20 at the store. Do you research fish before you buy them?

    defiately a spotted manderin goby are hard to keep feed only on copepods.

    yes i do but this 1 was from a guy that posted a skimmer on craigs list i went to see it and i did not like it and he said he is getting out of the hobby and still have this fish along with some damsels and clowns so i got it for $10.
