    Update day 3... Both pieces are still active and eating, so far so good i guess...

    the exposed insides look like they are closing up, obviously no growth yet, but looks like they are healing!!!

    Next time I would use a scapel, I remember them being really hard tocut when we dissected them and that was using a scapel

    Demonkegman- read through this thread from the start as per your recommendation. Pretty cool I must say! I'll try and keep an eye on the growth progress of my recently split asterina. I imagine they would grow quicker than your's due to the size.

    UPDATE, WEEK ONE OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Pics tomorrow, they are both alive and well... no growing yet but they "cut" or wound looks like it's closed up and isn't infected or anything, so that's about all i can update i guess....
