    LOL,just ask my redneck son in law how much he enjoyed his first NJ winter,it was 2009 when we had record breaking snowfall.BTW he is a lineman for the power company here!

    lol ouch that must have sucked. I'm not a redneck though, I'm Cajun, pretty much the cross roads of Louisiana is Baton Rouge. It's where Cajuns,New Orleanians, and Rednecks meet.

    lol alot of people have hurricane parties.....=get drunk and not know what is going on. I think it's quite immature to get drunk in a serious situation though

    Well thanks to both you and grim for the tips,looks like we could be in for some long power outages around here and knowing the lineman doesn't usually help me any.

    Our roads were closed and patrolled during and two days after Isaac. They almost always close the roads, don't get too worried that the roads are closed it's all part of the experience
