    Hey guys,

I have an oscellaris clown with a swim bladder infection. Hes really struggling to stay down, he has been swimming on his side for about a day.

Is there anything I can do to help this?

I would get some frozen peas and thaw them out. Then, feed it a couple of them.

    Hey guys,

I can clearly see an indent in the fishes stomach. This seems to be the location of the blockage. And there is a bigger fronter section than back section. This must be the build up of air in the swim bladder of the fish.

Could I, as a last ditch resort if the fish does not seem to recover, massage the stomach of the fish to try and make the blockage pass?

Well I Don't know about massaging but When we deep sea fish(not clowns of course)you are required to pop the air bladder with a needle before releasing them back into the water if they are under limit. Now i don't know if it helps them live......I think this might be a bit off topic lol

That could be an idea. What does anyone else think of popping it with a needle? Might just cause certain death? But if death is imminent anyway....
