When I change the salinity in my tank for any reason I mover go over .01 a day and I try to do it throughout the day. I'm not sure how much you can do a day just don't do to much because your fish will notice the change and it could shock them

How large is your system in terms of volume? You can bring it up slowly by adding saltwater to your system instead of using the usual RO/DI water for top off from evaporation.

instead of topping off with RO/DI fresh water just top off with salt water mixed to the correct sg. This will bring it up slow enough and should shock the fish.
