How Often Do You Feed ?

Hi. I like all kinds of fish. I have a tropical tank, a salt water tank & even a tank for goldfiish.

My question is, how often do you feed your fish ? I feed mine every other day. ( maybe a pinch or a little more ). Is that too little ; too much. What are your feelings ?

I only have four little fish in my 55 saltwater so I feed once every other day. In my Fresh water tank I have one large Oscar and we feed him once a day.

 

I have about 12 fish and I feed every day 2-3 frozen cubes.

i feed 1 frozen cube a day spread over 2-3 feedings to my 9 fish and a couple of chunks of raw shrimp to my ray, the fish pick at what the ray doesnt eat

 

2 Cubes every other day for the fish.
Seaweed everday if I'm home.

I feed the corals a couple times a week... prolly about 1.5 cubes a week for that.

 

I like this post. I have been curious about others feeding habits vs livestock myself.

I feed 1 to 1 1/2 frozen cubes of fish food and one frozen cube of cyclopeze for the corals every other day. I hang 1/3 of a strip of Nori on the opposite days. I also feed some pieces of raw shrimp to my two star fish and the sally lightfoot about 3 times a week. They fish may get a little of the shrimp hand fed to them if there is any left over but i dont put it in the tank for them to find.

Oh yeah, I have 15 fish. 2 big the rest small.

 

I feed a few small pellets and a 2"x2" piece of seaweed everyday. every 2-3 days I replace the seaweed and pellets for small piece of mysis cube soaked in garlic. In another month or 2 when my tank is a little more established I will cut back to every other day.

 

i feed everyday for my fishes and for anemone & star once in a week.

 

I feed my saltwater tank twice a day. Dry in the morning frozen at night. I feed my fresh tank every day in the evening and 3X week in the morning.
