    Hey,

I was wondering for how much time should the light be on? I have a ten gallon tank and my light is 23watts. Thanks :-*

That's not a lot of light, I'd say 12 hours.

If you crank it up to 5 watts per gallon or so, you could reduce it to 10 hours.

I agree! 55 watts of 10,000k PC lighting would be the bomb!

Is there such a thing as too much light?

Would 130 watts be too much light for a 10 gal?
Or would it be good? oe would my fish go blind?

    Suggestions please?

I have 1 400W MH and waiting for another 400W total of 800W on a 75 gal tank.
My corals love it I don't think there is such thing as too much light you just have to make sure you aclimate the new corals to the new light and the fish they don't care just get them sunglasses LOL :)
