The bubbles from a spray injection system are created by water being sprayed at a high velocity down through a layer of air breaking the water line in the skimmer, instead of some sort of airstone being used underwater to create the bubbles that bubble up into the skimmer.[IMG]
    Sorry Not the best Diagram
It sounds like luna is getting the air going to the skimmer from outside the house, but I don't believe this is a requirement.

Yes, outside the house and no, its not required. My house's Co2 level is rather high, which doesnt help with my ph. So anytime that I can get more O2 inside my house, the better. Luna

If you look at the pic carefully, you'll see that the skimmer has 3 fittings on the top of the blk box. One is for the pump(water supply), the other is the John Quest fitting and the last one is the air valve( has a lite blue knob).

    I have 6 pumps on my 90g

In the tank, 1 koralia 3, and one seio prop pump 320,
The return is a quiet one 3000, which tees off to feed the skimmer as well. The skimmer is run by a genX 2400 since it is a recirc skimmer.

The Geo calcium reactor has a small eheim on it, and the CA reactor is fed by a maxijet 900.

I used to have a mag 9 return pump, but I cut 50 watts off the pump usage by going with the quiet one. Even with the new Ca reactor, I saved several watts by ditching the mag9 that failed on me.

3 Powerheads in the tank, one return in the sump.

Far as I seen, those ocean motion setups are the best thing you can do.
