A lot longer than a month. ;D You can speed up the growth rate by target feeding with some frozen mysis.

You can drop a large rock on the head. I accidentally did this to my two headed frogspawn and almost killed it. Shredded it up fairly well. A week later, four heads.

i have one and it doesnt grow a "head"... what it does is branch off of the single one, kinda like splits a head in two and fills it in with calcium and then both heads grow outwards from there.

and when you target feed, how do you do it?

Took a month and a half for mine.

It almost has too many heads to count now.

You'll see the tentacles split into two clumps or heads well before the bases calcify.

Here is what it looks like today.
