How long to cure Silicone?

    How long do i let silicone cure? Is 24 hrs ok?

    the easy way to tell is when it stop smelling.

    the smell means its still curing and in that process it releases gases.

    edit:acetic acid is what it makes, i dont think its very dangerous (its in vinegar) but i wouldn't trust it to hold weight while it still is making the acid

    I did read the tube. lol. It didnt say.
    It has been a little over 24 hrs now. I only worry because it still smells... does this matter?
