    i am fragging a piece of xenia onto a live rock. i don't want to use crazy glue so i am just using a rubber band. how long should i leave the rubber band.

    ummm . . . you should leave the rubber band on until it attaches. what works best for me is to spear the base of the frag with a toothpick, and rubber band that onto the plug. By far, the easiest way to frag xenia is to put a couple pieces of rubble on top of the colony and in a couple weeks stalks will grow onto them.
