give it a day or two. it will expand.. you can squirt some brine shrimp out of a syringe to feed it some next week. it just needs light and good water parms. calcium needs to be 400-450ppm I found on my hammer and frogspawn for it to do good.

ok sweet thanks for the info, im hoping there is more tenticles tucked inside but if its just going to be a super tiny torch for a while, i guess thats ok and ill take a shot at coral feeding, i havet fed any of my corals but i want this guy to grow so i will deffiently feed this one, would silver sides work at all? i have brine shrimp but i know my fish would deffiently steal it, they dont touch the silver sides

ahhh, miss impatient at her finest :p

brine and mysis, dont use silversides. it should grow kinda quick, if water params are right. I just fragged my hammer. got it with 3 heads and in 6 months it had 17 full heads. be patient grass hoppa ;D

    I agree 100%

not much color, and most I would pay is $10 per head for non-ORA.

what depth was it at in the LFS tank? whats the wattage on your lights?

I would start the coral out all the way at the bottom and move it up an inch or 2 every day till it brightens up

it was an extremely shallow tank and the MH was directly over it, maybe only 5 inches above water line its kind of lower to mid section in the tank right now.

and dont really know the wattage on my lights but i have a 4x39 t5 ho tek, let me see if i can try to find the wattages

39 is the wattage for each bulb. ;) 4x39 = 156 total watts.
