I Need to cut back on my clove polyps they are spreading to fast. Im taking the main chunk out that is attatched to the plate i bought them on a year ago.

But im going to leave the ones that spread over to the rock. I just want them to stay right there. I want them to grow bigger i just dont want them to spread anymore.

Is it immoral to just cut them back and kill the spreaders?

I cant put any sand around the rock they are on the edge.

Cutting them back it the only way to prevent them from spreading if you have them on the rocks.

That is what your going to have to do it cut them back but that may not help much.

Another coral on my most wanted (dead) list. Trim trim trim. Corals that spread this fast are going to be a major pain in the ass. One of the fish stores I stop at when I drive up north for work put gsp in there main display tank. A kid working there said it was the biggest mistake the store owner has ever made.
