How do I frag my green star polyp

    Never fragged before but would love to try. This guy (Green star) is doing really well in my tank. I would love to frag him for a friend but I am not sure how to do this. Any detailed advice would help..

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Remove piece from tank, use a razor blade and peel. You can then super glue it to a plug or piece of rubble.

    or since it a very fast grower, you could lay a piece of rubble on the colony and they will soon grow onto it, then just remove the piece

    you cannot mess this up.

    The only thing I'd advise is be mindful not to drop little bits of it into the tank. It will take hold somewhere you don't want it.

    when you say peel do you mean skin a pc off the rubble?

    Yeah. :)

    If you cut it at the right angle you can peel it off. Takes a little practice to get big pieces but do able.

    super easy coral to frag. you want to take a razor blade or sharp knife and peel the purple carpet the polyps grow on. use some reef safe glue to attach it whereever you want. good luck!
