Try turning the flow down. Looks like you are pushing too much water.

I think thats his problem, the drain flow is not vented. Its like taking a 2 liter coke bottle and filling it with water and trun it upside down. What happens?

The "vent" holes are located in the cap on top of the stand pipe. They are however located on the bottom sides of the cap, but never touch any water. So it sounds like I need to drill bigger holes?

Did you buy or make the stand pipes? Also, what RP do you have and how many gph is it?

I wouldn't try a bigger hole until you throttle down the return. It is pumping at just a tad too much and getting ahead of the gravity drain which is constant.

I'd try a larger hole first as it would not do any harm to the end result. Getting the desired effect by cutting back the turn over as it may be a solution I would rather have the greater turn over if I could. If the larger breather doesn't do it then I'd cut back the return.....just my opinion - good luck

    one overflow or two ?

I'd guess that the overflow you pictured above can 850. is that 1100 after HP ?

I was up all night researching overflows. from what I understand, you can only get 600 to 700 gph thru a 1 1/4 pipe. that being said, I would agree that you need to dial down the pump. your pushing at least 800 to 900 depending on head loss.

What schedule pvc pipe did you use for the stand pipe? What size? I also have that kind of flow and I have a 1" return on my drain.
