Do I put them on a rock so they will spread (like zoos or polyps) or are they like a frogspawn and will just do it themselves? They have a skeleton right?

yeah just glue the frag to a rock and the rock will be covered..

i think it ony makes the skeleton if there are no rocks for it to spread on..at least doesnt make as much of a skeleton.

All stony corals (LPS and SPS) have skeletons. They grow by building more skeleton by virtue of their polyps.

You will get more polyps as the skeleton grows. As the skeleton isn't alive, it doesn't care if it is or is not attached to anything.

so basically I could do either. It can go on a rock, but doesn't NEED a rock to spred/grow.

    Cool.:)

I can't wait to get one, watch them be all gone. :p
