My power is still out from sandy I have about 100d batteries for my air pumps on my tanks but I'm begining to worry about temp.I'm able to keep the house at 70 and the tank is around 68 69 degrees.how long can I stay a this temp ? I have my fish condensed into a 210 and a 120 so they can stay airated.when will temp become my problem?

If it's fish and no corals, I wouldn't worry about it. I let the temp on my FOWL tanks go down to 70 in the winter. Just watch the fish for stress. They will probably eat less, at least initially.

And if you have corals you might be able to heat up some water or get got water somehow and pour into like a bag or bottle and float it in your tabk

no for long, corals will die in a matter of hours, just depends on how cold the water is. 65 is on the danger side, any lower then that then they're goners..

Once the power went out here in Minnesota in the winter and I had tropical fish, the water was getting very cold and i knew I had to do something and do it fast, I built a fire in the back yard and heated water out of the tank, heat the water and dump it in the tank, get more water and do it again. You can even run in to town and get some sterno from somewhere if you can't built a fire.
