i have a few corals and want to introduce a medium clam into the tank and my question would be how to set up a kalkwasser drip?
i have all the stuff for it, the hospital IV line to control drip, the 2 liter plastic water bottle to hold solution and a tube of good silicone for when i make the hole in the bottle LOL
guess what i'm trying to ask is if someone can tell me in simple terms that anyone can understand how to figure out the drip rate into the tank
all my peram are good except my calc is alittle low at 380
i do use reef complete to bring up calcium once aweek so any help would be greatly appreciated

There is no magical number, it all depends on your water evaporating. You need to add the same amount that you loose so it will be a while to figure that out. Just start with a slow drip and increase or decrease in a day or two. Keep an eye on your pH.
