    only problem with leds is they dont have much spread
    they work pretty good on nanos and picos though :)

    Yeah, If the price is right you could always put enough LEDs in any size system.
    Still a little pricey and ambiguous to me at this point.
    I know some people are getting good growth with them now for SPS but I don't know about color.

    if you are making the fixture yourself leds are pretty cheap when bought in bulk

    I am wondering what the fan is for, LED's put out almost no heat, unless those are some other type of LED's?

    the fan may be to cool a transformer... im no electronics pro mind you but i dabble here and there ( i know just enough to get myself into trouble :) )

    in afew months im thinkn of building my own led light fixture but if im doin it it will be something crazy ill post up when i decide to do it for now im pretty tapped
