    Question

I moved my old 50 to a new 65 and prior to the move I had <5 Nitrates

Now I did move 2 lbs of the old live sand to the new tank as a seeder but I am thinking when i took my rock out of the old tank I might have released some nitrates in the water and then I took 30 gals of the old tank water and put it in the new tank

Think it is possible that is how my nitrates now read 50?:-/

yes, now your tank will cycle agin but probly not as long as a fresh cycle would take. I would do a 10 or 20% water change now to.

do a 50% water change to cut it in half, also next time you move use fresh new sand
