    I just recently added my clown, and my nitrate has gone up, a lot. its at 40 ppm atm, I did a 10% water change and hours later its still the same? What to do?!

    you have like a 10 gallon tank right?
    do like 50% change.

    also make sure your new water is around the same temperature. So you don't shock the fish.
