    Hi I have the opportunity to buy a maxspec razor 420r for my 26 gallon is a mix tank. I running t5ho 4 bulb now. My question is with this led I can grow more type of sps corals ? Like acros and other types thanks for the help to all ya have a wonderful day and happy friday 13

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    You should be able to grow acropora and other sps corals fine now. Do you need to update or upgrade your bulbs, change out reflectors? The Razor is nice, I would pick it up if the price is right. Can't have too many lighting fixtures.:p

    Mi light dont have individual reflectors and I tink the price is good

    Agreed! The T5s will grow anything you could want and so can the LED in OP. How much will new bulbs run you when you need to replace and how much is the razor? If it is not much more I would get the LEDs. I really like my LEDs so much more than the T5s.

    The razor is used for 6 months and is 250 the bulb in my t5 is wave points bulb and the fixture is from aquatred

    6 months used for a LED fixture is nothing when it should not have any problems for several years. I don't know how much those bulbs are but you will probably spend more than the $250 within 2 years.

    The color of my sps with my t5 dont look bright my bop losst the nice color my lfs say is my ligth fixtures
