Again, very bad pics...all the good pics that I took when I was less excited I haven't uploaded...most of these were Day 1 pics that I took rushedly and uploaded excitedly. The calmer pics weren't uploaded because the initial excitement of the new pet wore out a little bit :p The motivation to upload pics, that is; and not the love of the animal.

Cuttle fish are so cool! How long do they generally live? Are they short lived like other cephalopods?

    Thanks :D

Yeah, amcarrig. They're only expected to live about a year or so...that's why I chose the tiny one over all those adult sized ones available. If you buy an adult it doesn't have long to go...

They're not as hard to keep as people think. I think people just want to scare people who haven't kept cephs away just so that they can hog them to themselves...:p

A friend of mine in Scotland (Colin Dunlop a/k/a Octomonkey) once told me that the hardest part about keeping cuttles was feeding them and keeping them from cannibalizing each other (if kept in the same tank). I'm sure that he's much better at it now because this was when he first started keeping cuttles. Do you find that to be the case as well?
