Hermit Crabs

When they molt, their old exoskeleton looks creepily like a real crab.

A few weeks ago I saw what I thought was a dead hermit. Fished him out and trashed him, and then a few days later Saw another one, but let the crew take care of it. Then another few days later I found one of my "dead hermits."

Freaked me out, figured it had to be a molt then. Then just a few days ago I saw my fourth hermit crawling around. No one died at all, so weird how lifelike their old exoskeletons look.

Their pretty funny little things too. I just had one crawl his way up the silicone in a corner and attempt to leap onto my mag float. Missed and just layed there with his back on the sand for a minute.
