    ok..and what would be good to kinof fight the ich in the meantime? kick ich?

    Waste of money, the tried and true method is copper.
    Feed him well.

    There are various ways to treat for ich that do not require copper, do you have any inverts in your tank? If not you can treat with hyposalinity, this is done by lowering your salinity, do you have a refractometer?

    Your best three options would be this:

    Hypo salinity
    Copper treatments
    Raising its immune system to fight Ich(risky, sometimes works)

    then just use whatever other filtration u have...

    From what I have read, hyposalinity will not kill of the bacteria in the rock. REgardless the fish have to be treated somehow, So the rock either needs to be moved or the fish need to be moved
