    Tangs are always the target of every parasite and infection. It's too bad that they are the nicer looking of marine fish, or I would just say forget them.

    Glad to hear you have him quarantined off and investigating the issue.

    Tank water parameters can change very quickly in a smaller size QT tank. Check your nitrite, nitrate, and ammonia parameters every day.

    Not that it wasn't said before but it sounds like he needs more food and a larger variety. If he was still eating maybe you should have left him in the main tank? I have had bad luck with fish after they became sick and then moved to a QT, it is a alot of stress on the fish. It's a tough fish though so it should pull through.

    I think you have too many fish for a 55. Stress would change his color and then making him suseptible to getting ick
