HELP!! yellow tang nibbling crocea clam

    yes.... a yellow tang been very naughty. i just moved the clam to upper waters.. about 3 inches to the surface. will this affect my clam? and how do i make the tang not bother it!!?!?!

    You can try making a shield for the clam (clear 2 liter bottle cut into a cylinder with holes in the sides for some flow). You might have to make a decision between the fish and the tang though. Clams don't last too long when their being harassed like that.

    LOL well for sure i cant catch the fish. and i love that clam! =[ dont know what to do. this clam has some seriously nice patterns. right now clam is way on the top and tang not bothering it... so ill see what happens.

    no its getting the flesh part.... and the clam wants to open up and its at it again. so clam just stays closed..

    well i put the clam wayy at the top and the tang stopped bothering it. so i hope it stays that way. but i prefer my clam to be lower hehe.... i want my sps to grow all over the top.

    Well crocea clams demand the highest amount of lighting, so it's probably the best move on both parts.
