Hey have a green stylo. Has amazing polyp extension at night but during day not so much. Does have polyps out but no where near night time.

Is this normal? Should I turn my leds down? 120w full spectrum leds.

It could be a sign that the light is too high for it. Maybe turn them down a little.

how long have you had it? I'm with 2in10, i have a blue styli thats crazy fuzzy during the day and actually retracts its polyps just before the lights turn off only to re-extend them an hour after lights off.

it could just be acclimating to its new home

it could just be acclimating then, personally i would not temper with light intensity if all your other corals are happy

could be lights as it is fairly new to your tank.

What does your stocking look like? typically retraction of polyps during the day and expansion at night signals a fish that might be nipping at the polyps.
