HELP with acclimating corals to new LIGHTING

    So far so good.. I notice my lps's reaching for what seems to be more light. I don't know time will tell.. I'm happy with my lights so far.. Temp staying at 81.1..

    Respectfully mazilla, you have some un-orthodox methods of reef keeping. Admittedly so?

    Well I lowered my lights down more.. So far so good. Temp still holding at 81.1... Took off the eggcrate.. I could see the light shining through in lines and couldn't stand it.. Hope my rainsford doesn't get frisky though..

    A jumper is a jumper but, the fact that you don't house it with fish that could potentially spook it into jumping helps.

    Thats what I was thinking too.. My clown pays no attention to it.. and my rainsford just hangs out at the bottom sifting sand most of the time...
