** help whire dots ***

    all my levels are good, phosphate is @2.0, but I got these white tiny spots on all my fish within the last 2 days.(they look as if the have snow on them, but the white one has developed black spots) I lost a blue tang this morning that was alive last night. and my sailfin is swimming sideways. please help. I think my snail died also

    Sounds like ich, except the black spots. What is the pH? Specific gravity? We will need all the parameters and info of your tank to really be able to help.

    I've never heard of black spots... Be more specific on your params.

    It's called black spot or tang disease.

    +1. Info on ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, PH, tmp, SG, ca, mg, dkh would be a great help. Also, what kind of mechanical and biological filtration do you have?

    Maby they have both. Not sure the only problim I ever had in SW tank was coton like fungus on fins and I treeted with copper dipping.

    Last time I hade fish with ich was in a freshwater tank when I was 13. Im a stress coat fiend every time I make and changes.
