My clam has been happy in my tank under my 260 watts of PC for the last 2 months. I haven't feed it at all but it was doing great anyway. It's always been fully expanded but today i found it to be retracting it's mantle and as today went on he retracted it more and more. What should do. He's at the top of my tank. He's shriviling up and i'm worried about him. What should i do.

Look for the irratant, something is botherring it. Check under the mantle for snails or wounds. Could be succumbing to lack of light as well.

If the clam is 3" or smaller, you have to feed it phyto or it will eventually die. Not sure what kind of clam that you have but it most likely needs stronger lighting :(

Good point on the phyto AC!  Inadequate light for xoanthallae photosynthesis will alo have the same effect.

Unfortunately, the clam is pretty much done for. Croceas can not be kept under pc lighting for long periods of time. :( I can only suggest that you not attempt to keep clams until you upgrade your lighting.
