I have a 75 gal saltwater and just recently purchased my 2nd anemone (green bubble) yesterday. Today it was curled up and there was an injury (noticed when I saw a chromis peck at it. I have isolated it to 5 gallon tank and was informed to make sure the water is well aerated. I am using a air stone. It is not eating (silverside). What else can I do?

Isolating it was a good idea. Similar thing happened to me, I bought an anemone and there was another one attached to the rock and the second one got ripped in half. Your best bet is to keep water parameters ideal and leave it be to heal. Unfortunately there isn't much that you can do otherwise. Looks like the foot is still pretty well attached and the mouth looks good too, so I wouldn't be too worried. Just keep an eye on it.

Not much can be done. Good note on the isolation of the anemone tho.

Anemone has air. Does that go away on its own?

It's tough to tell but I've seen nems bounce back. I wouldn't try to feed it, just leave him be. Hope it recovers

I hate to be the one that bucks the trend. But I'd have to say the lighting in the 5g can not be enough for the anemone.

In your display tank what are your specs.
I noticed you are also having issues with a Kenya tree coral.
Could you let us know the basics such as:
    Light type
    Water chemistry
    SG:
    Ammonia:
    Nitrites:
    Nitrates:
    Calcium:
    Alk:
    PH:
Also how did you acclimate the anemone?

    Thanks

It's only been in the 5G for a few hours. The water in the tank was pulled from the 75G

Could you let us know the basics such as:
Light type: 445nm/460nm blue, 8,000K/12,000K White
Water chemistry: All within perimeters when we had our trusted LFS test it
    SG:
    Ammonia:
    Nitrites:
    Nitrates:
    Calcium:
    Alk:
    PH:
Also how did you acclimate the anemone? First let the bag sit on the water. After abt 20 mins added water from the tank. Waited 10-12 mins and added more. Waited 10-12 mins then placed it in the tank with the light on blue

    Thanks

    Thanks,
Are those T5 bulbs or compact florescent?
If you are getting into coral and Anemones I would invest in your own set of water tests.
