help identify this please...

    I have this in my tank. I don't know what it is. They are in the little holes in the rock and seem to have multiple legs in some areas. What are they and are they good or bad? it's that little black and white leg popping out in the center.

    Brittle starfish they are fine. They are a great part of a clean up crew.

    Mini or micro brittle stars...harmless little cleaners...most won't get any larger than the size of a quarter if that.
