apparently my lil brother bought frags for a lfs in orlando and he had them for almost a month and he noticed they are not opening or turning brown or in some cases looks to be bleaching can some one please help me id these frags and possibly help me get them back to health. i've already stress to him that an amatuer tank can not house certain corals. im guessing the lfs he went to lied to him. info and suggestion of care would help greatly.

You appear to be right on the ones you had identified. Looks like possibly a Merlina, palys or zoas and Pavona.

Actually all of the corals are healthy, except the merlina. Looks like photo shock to me. What type of light and what are the nitrate and phosphate levels in the tank?

OK I would say photo shock, move the corals to the sand and let them recover for a couple of weeks then slowly move them to the desired location.

most of them look pretty good, if you really want to help them I would look into feeding with some reef nutrition foods or something for sps. I'm not exactly sure the right one for sps is, but I'm sure they have a good one.
