Hey Everyone. Noticed some of my corals not opening. I checked my water parameters and everything is ok except for my PH. It has been steady around 8.2 but today it was 7.4 How can I raise that? Anyway to do it fairly quick? I have a 24g Nano tank. Thanks everyone.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
You never want to anything quickly with regard to changes in parameter.

Personally I would do a couple of SMALL water changes.

If you have any Part A/B I would do that as well after testing all parameters.

Fixing the problem too quickly can be more detrimental to the tank than the orginal problem.

dont do anything radical...it is not that bad. How long has your lights been on? If they just came on or been on for a short time it will come back up.

What do you mean part A/B? I will do a water change today and see if anything changes. My Salnity is about 1.025

I Tested this morning before I left for the day. The lights were off when i tested but I have never had an issue with that in the past. I will test again tonight before the lights shut off. I am just worried about this one coral.

Many other products along the same lines.

Just go slow and wait and watch.

As schackmel posted the value of the pH changes thoughout the photoperiod. If you tested the value in the am before the lights came on, the value will be higher at the end when the lights go off.

Ok thank you. I will do some water changes and see if I can bring the levels up before I dose it with anything. It also might be the coral. Things just are not looking as healthy as normal. This one in particular is not opening.
