    what could i put on my 55 gallon and i could get anything? like sps anemones lps softies anything? and stay in a reasonable budget?

    ^ +1...only you can determine what's reasonable for your budget. There are tons of options. My two cents...look into LED's if your inclined to build something of your own.

    So many options. 2x150w MH pendants, 2x250w pendants, 4x54w T5, 6x54 T5, MH/T5 combo fixtures, LEDs, Retro kits. Depends on what you want and your price range.

    no laughing matter ATI is probably the best T5 fixture out there, there's a reason why they cost so much & people pay that much. It will trounce those other brands ten fold. Absolutely worth it if you want the best & want to keep any corals/clams in your tank.

    Maybe, but people pay lots of money for many reasons. I'll bet you can grow corals faster under the 8 bulb I posted.
