Does my tank need to cycle again, when I upgrade:confused:. My old tank is a 20 gal.
My new tank is a 55 gal. I am going to put my old live rock, sand, and water, in the new tank. I have coral 1 clown fish, and 2 shrimps, and I don’t want them to die.

It should be okay to upgrade your tank in size without the wait of cycling the tank again. I did the same thing with my 20 gallon to a 40 gallon a few months ago and have had no problems at all.... As long as the 20 is cycled well you should be ok.

    beautiful pictures fish aholic

maybe you should start a new thread with them in the show of your fish tank section

or maybe I could help move the posts to that forum to help you?
    what do you think?

Edit - I have copied the posts with the images on to that forum for you, more people will see them there as often, many people do not re visit the say hello forum, after they have said "Hello"
