    Does this Crocea look like he's healthy(so far)?. Just got him yesterday.
    I have him under T5 and was hoping he wasn't gaping..

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    It is a beautiful Crocea, and looks healthy and not gaping to me.

    How can you tell if a clam is gaping? since there is a pic for referance

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    If you google "images of gaping clams" you will see the inhalant siphon will be very wide and opening, you usually see decreased expansion of the mantel and at it's worst a pulling away from the shell.
