so I guess all the new additions to this tank will be quickly accumulating and hopefully i will start to have some actual animals soon...:D. Ok so today i siliconed my sump, and although it was a very messy job on the bubble trap dividers, the baffle for the display fuge part is pretty clean. Heres the photo of just the sump.

The cabinet that i built for the tank is finally done and has two viewing windows for the end display section of the sump. Excuse the clutter in the main tank.
[IMG]I have to attach the two hinged doors and then its ready to plumb and start running! gahhhh so excited. [IMG]
Heres a close up of the display fuge[IMG][IMG]
so lemme know what you think, and ill be posting further an the build continues!

take all your time (and give nature all its time) during the cycle. it hard to watch a tank full of rocks and nothing more come to life but better safe than sorry.

you already have a wish list in term of livestock and or corals & inverts?

thanks guys. ya im taking my time definitely. im planning on having macros and a small frogfish in the fuge. the main tank im looking at a fuzzy dwarf lion, lemon peel or flame angel, leaf scorpionfish, and then maybe some blue reef chromis or a bartlet or lyretail anthias. as for corals just easy soft corals that will resemble branching acros (my favorite but too difficult) right?) like kenya tree, xenia, colt, toadstools, mushrooms and macro algaes as well to make the tank look really natural. thats about it for the livestock.

+1, I always thought the pests that get picked up sometime are cool additions to a fuge. Being able to display them is awesome!
