I haven't but those prices seem a bit sketchy. I'd say give it a shot but I also don't want you left with a house fire.

 

looks just like oddysea fixtures to me.. im sure they arent far off from each if its not the same company somehow..

if thats your budget than yeah...but if u got one i would change the bulb asap to a good one or ur just wasting ur time, in a nice way..

 

so buy the set, and buy som extra bulbs? what would you reccomend? and what about for the T5 actinics?

ok, i dont understand whats wrong with it that i have to get new bulbs asap. and how do i know what brand to get for the hood?

 

because they look identical to oddysea..compare those to the ones on oddysea..the pictures are just about the same if not the same.. if i had to put a frag on it, those are the same fixtures that oddysea is selling, they are the same prices with everything..

also good brand fixtures usually will say what brand bulb it comes with..for example the current sunpods come with a hamilton 14k bulb, at least they did when they kept making them..

regardless what fixture i had, if it were metal halide i would run nothing else but a radium, and it is t5s i would never run bulbs that werent ati...these are the two best brands of bulbs..

 

oh should i just check out their site instead? your right though they aren't saying what brand its just:
