    You might notice at Jewish weddings the groom stamps his heel down upon a small glass. Even though the wedding is a happy and joyous occasion, the breaking of the glass is symbol of respect to the commandment that the temple in Jerusalem must be rebuilt.

    There always seems to be a rabbi standing around saying something like, "That's the last time that poor bastard puts HIS foot down."
