    I think really tight fitting gloves would be more of a pain than would help. It would take so long to put them on and take them off when you are just doing simple maintenance, or flipping a turbo snail.

    I wash my hands before I put them in the tank, if I have to move corals depending on which ones I use gloves or If I have to mess with the substrate.

    I have the best method ever for avoiding contamination......I don't put my hands in the tank! :lol:

    Thats what the long handle scraper is for. flipping snails

    The lack of the word shoulder is what through me off. Yeah shouder gloves - thats a good idea. Going to get my galoshes on too lol. jk.

    Shoulder-length, Clear Poly Gloves (100/box), Safety - GEMPLER'S

    Cheap also - not bad at all, may have to get some of these.

    for flipping snails I use a long frigid air line or the scrapper.

    After reading that article I plan to make sure and use gloves at all times, why take the risk.. gloves it is..

    I just ordered some long disposable ones. I've never seen them before or i would use them all the time.
